Train times from London:
Trains depart to Brighton regularly from both London Victoria and London Bridge. There is a 12.34 train from Victoria, which gets in at 1.50pm, and will give you enough time to get to the protest. There is also a 12.41 from London Bridge, which gets in at 1.52pm.
Directions from the train station:
When you exit the station, walk past the bus stops in front of you, cross the road and walk straight down Queens Road (where The Queens Head pub is situated). Turn left on Church Street, and walk down to the bottom towards The Pavillion Gardens. You’ll get to the entrance of The Brighton Dome Theatre just before the entrance to the gardens.
The protest will be situated across the road from the theatre entrance on Church Street, outside the Old Court Room. You’ll be able to spot us with the Priced Out banner across the bollards, as well as various Priced Out placards
Parking:
Brighton has a particularly eccentric one-way system, and the traffic can get particularly clogged up at weekends. If you’re coming to Brighton by car, then you’re advised to add some extra time to your journey to compensate for this. We advise parking at the NCP car park on Church Street (on the same street as the venue or, if that’s full, you can also park at the NCP car park on Trafalgar Street, which is about a ten-minute walk away.
Car Park Location Map
From the Trafalgar Street car park, you need to get on to Whitecross Street, and then turn left back on to Trafalgar Street. After that, turn a sharp right onto Sydney Street and then continue on to Kensington Street. Then, turn left onto North Road, and then another sharp right onto Regent Street. When you get to the end of Regent Street, turn left down Church Street and the protest will be straight ahead of you.
