Foxtons are selling houses being sold by Barnard Marcus behind Barnard Marcus'back apparently.
Just recently a house that had a Barnard Marcus sign For Sale up for ages suddenly displayed a Foxtons Sold sign!
No Foxtons For Sale sign had appeared!
The Barnard Marcus For Sale sign remained up even though Foxtons SOLD
was right next to it on the same property!
It appears that no one had bothered to inform Barnard Marcus that the property had indeed been sold by Foxtons!
Neither the seller or Foxtons!
(the seller was probably thoroughly pissed off with waiting for Marcus to sell the house))
This could lead to the embarrassing situation of a Barnard Marcus rep turning up with a customer in a car to show the house only to be confronted with a large Foxtons board declaring it already sold!
Nasty Nasty and it doesnt look good to passers by. |
