The commentators wring their hands and keep asking why why why?
Why dont the voters of Henley-upon-Thames just vote for Gordon Brown
Harriet Harman and Jaqui Smith?
Its not a difficult question to awnser.

A fool can see it.
The sort of person who lives in Henley ,Toffs, are under attack by Labour.
They know very well what they see when they travel to Slough about 15 miles away by car, when they go to Barking or Illford some 25-30 miles away with their approaching apparently 90%ethnic populations, they see it and they dont want it in Henley-on-Thames
at any cost! For them or their children.
But the problem is if Brown has his way they will!
Thats the problem........for Labour.......not Henley on Thames
Labour is not sufficiently opaque and too transparent.
Any locality it touches with its multi cutural policies ends up a disaster
a zone filled with decaying businesses,a huge illegal refugee problem, deliquency,
crime and filth.
Chip shops and nasty dirty poo poo people and supermarkets.Corrupt housing deals, planning bribes the cessation of national production except aborted babies
rubbish and tasks for the Social services, solicitors and social workers.
Bog OFF Labour
weve got X Ray Spex!

I saw that on the news this morning... the most utterly amazing thing was the response of the Labour candidate... They said that the reason that they'd done badly was "just the economy" - as if that was something for which the government had no responsibility; as if our chancellor for a decade had not been promoted to PM; as if his misguided economic policies had not left the British citizen the most indebted in the world; as if it was OK to run huge budget deficits during a boom; as if it was OK to lie about having a "prudent" economic policy. Bloody amazing!

It was only one away from saying "we lost because we're a party of lying thieving scumbags" - but it was said with such a straight face... what sort of retard are they hoping to appeal to?

"what sort of retard are they hoping to appeal to?"

People who believe the economy is run by supernatural forces and it is accident of nature that all the goods, services and benefits keep piling into great big unearned mountains of privilege

Socialists?
