The stagnation is sales means that Owners are less liklely to sell
their properties that are currently being rented.
Getting rid of 50 sitting tenants in order to attempt a sale in world of plummeting prices and no sales is not an attractive proposition.
In fact the costs would make the whole thing barmy!
And if it fails then theyve got to find another 50 tenants all new which could take weeks if not months.
In previous times many tenants would suddenly find that their "owner"anxious to join in the Speculation binge was selling up.
