Barnard Marcus-yeah they of the distinctively gaily coloured predominately pink For Sale signs that remained up for months or even years in some cases have finally admitted defeat and closed one of their West London branches.
The branch located near the notorious Estate housing 1000s Somali refugees and where only last Thursday night another young African was stabbed to death
as reported by posters in the local area and the local newspaper never really fitted in to the grim declining acres of urban neglect that peppered the area.
The commercial area has had long standing problems with substance abusers
and the like.
