Hi I'm a home owner and I have to say your site has been a bit of an eye-opener.

I think I may be a recovering House Price Addict.

I've been sucked into the whole how much more is my house worth thing in a big way over the last 4 or 5 years. You find yourself constantly checking your neighbours prices and prices in the town. Frequent visits to nethouseprices and the like seem to be one of the key symptoms!

Never really spent any time thinking about how high prices would affect other people.

Perhaps you need a House Price Anonymous section to help recovering addicts like myself

Alot of homeowners I talk to have absolutely no idea what it is like for those of us who are priced out. We are almost non-existent to the mainstream media. This is why I hope this campaign gets more public exposure. But I think some people are now starting to realise that they cannot afford to move to a bigger property either because the jump is too big or they cannot sell their old house.
