Many of our MPs have fiddles expenses e.g. mortgages that did not exist etc... and they will happily take money. The question is did they take bribes?

| In my opinion, stopping MPs from becoming taxpayer subsidised "second home" property speculators would help a lot. The vested interests in property has lead to a conflict of interests. This IS almost as bad as taking bribes. A fixed salary for London based MPs and an additional amount for MPs with constituencies outside of London. Something like a certain amount extra per mile outside the M25. That would simplify the accounting and reduce the amount of taxpayer funded property. |
